Christians are persecuted in Europe too, in some countries there is no more Christmas anymore, its 'festival season'.

here we are trying to curb the power of religion, but i would not go as far as calling it persecution..
yeah it was a bit ironic, but its result of PC and 'modernisation' to absurd level.
I am not a real christian myself (only xian by upbringing) but renaming christmas is more than curbing the religion, its denying legacy of Christianity (good or bad).
Anyway, to the point, if they expell them Europe should grant them residence, but it would probably sooner happen in Amerika, more faithfull to christian legacy.

wasn't that just in USA?

I know mainly of events in Europe I am not sure about states, however I remember I was a member of pearl jam fan club in nineties and already that time they sent us members "season greetings" for Xmas (sorry for festival season).
