What data does this use?

what do you mean ?

you need to have done a test on a company like 23andme and use your raw data that you download from the site you have made the test and use that raw data to run the calculator

how do you know when you have done it right? do you get a message to let you know your results are almost ready? I followed all the steps and nothing has happened

you get the results immediately on the screen in the R program you are running . take note that it can take a while for the program to calculate so wait a little until your results show

I have been trying and nothing happens

> source('standardize.r')
> standardize('23andme.txt', company='23andMe')
> system('recentancestors.par')

after that, I get nothing, no results
did I do something wrong?

bro have you even done a 23andme test to begin with ? you have to include the name of your raw data file inside the second line I hope you know that

you have to press on enter after the thirt line and have to wait

it can take several minutes

hahaha ok then

if you want send me your raw data per pm and I will run it for you . there are sites where you can upload data and send it to people but I dont know the urls of those sites .

that would be the best . it is hard to explain each step over the internet
