this video from me proofs it very well, since it shows that russians have huge portion of hablogroup N like all the other natives of siberia. Russians mixed with them being a slavic uralic mix, something like 25-50% and therefor being natives of sberia and north asia. opinions?

Hello,

I know of course that women do not have a y chromosome hence inability to test for their y-dna haplogroup. However, do girls still carry something from their father's side in terms of DNA that can span back thousands of years? Or is a woman's genetic ethnic makeup only detectable from her maternal line?

I am not sure if that made sense but I am curious as to how a girl's paternal line affects her differently than her brother let's say (genetically).
