Both, but the second one is more strega looking, while the first one is more dwarf looking.
They are nearer the truth of actual Italian female appearance, away from the Bellucci myth.

First one I think has more of a widespread look; second one's look is fairly common in Sicily and Calabria but not in northern/central Italy.
I'm Italian. What would being American have to do with it? you don't have to be Japanese to know what Japanese people look like.
They both look like Italians, I don't think it's fair to pidgin hole ethnic features this way, it's fascist to me, the bad part. A better question would be which is more typical in Italy, and I couldn't say for sure, I've seen many different looking Italian people. The second girl looks Dinaric-Atlanto-med, while the first looks more like an Alpinid mix. None of those types are rare in Italy.
They both pass in Italy, they're just more/less typical depending on which part of the country we're considering. The first look however is more widespread, while the second is mostly found in the South. Anyway they both look ugly.

Right, also I've always thought Bellucci's is only a myth that the Frenchmen first and the Americans then made up to confirm their stereotype about Italian women. You couldn't explain otherwise the international success she's had.
