Looking at the news of people across North Africa and the Middle East over the last couple of weeks, its seems African admixture is obvious in many. Most look admixtured to varying degree, with only very looking completely Europoid.
Also, how much Asiatic blood is there in there in Mid East and North Africa? A few people also have slight Asiatic features (but only tiny bit).
I was surprised by this as well, especially in Egypt where it seemed that maybe 15% of the crowds had what appeared to be sub-Saharan African features.
There's a small percentage of Negroid blood in Gulf Arabs. But north of Iraq, not as much. I've seen a few Black Iraqis when I was on tour in the country.
Most Arabic speaking populations have Sub-Saharan African admixture, this is noticeable in global MDS plots. It is mostly homogeneously spread evenly but there is also some variation due to recent events like the Bantu slave trade.
But I know you meant SSA. North africa probably has more SSA than the Middle East (Yemen or Saudi Arabia has the most negroid blood out of the Middle East I think) especially Mauritania, Sudan, and Morocco.
