Wow, we have debated this in the past. There is no such thing as an "Anatolian bump". It was invented by a single author who was promoting an unified indentity for certain local US people. The fact that it is even mentioned in the Wiki article proves that Wiki can be edited by any idiot, and that it cannot be trusted unless you correlate with other sources (there are some good scientific articles on Wiki, but often those are protected against editing, too bad that it's not the case here.)

From what I can tell this is indicating both occipital and lambdoid flattening and the elevated bulge that might be produced just a little beyond the lambda.
Well, you know, I understand that people here of course haven't all read the old forums, so I'm sorry I wrote it like that.
For some reason, it's just a strange meme that has been created. I don't know why this is so believable to people, maybe it is because it has no real purpose, and therefore it seems like something that someone wouldn't lie about - and therefore becomes believable?
In any case, it was something that someone came up with in connection with so called "Melungeons" in the USA. There is nothing to it at all. Just think about it. A "Turk" anatomical feature? A feature that somehow becomes unique to a group of people, who have multiple origins, some of who are not related at all? Somehow an ideology and language creates a physical feature? Which the people they are related to do not have?
The idea was that it was a sign of "Anatolian" origin of Melungeons. Needless to say, the inventor of the term was not an expert in such matters.
i have this bump, my turk friend said maybe i have turk heritage i was like lol wat?.. coz there was a racist turk movment there that only those who have a bump are considered genuine turks by that movment.. lol
