You eat hummus and falafel and have a middle eastern mindset. just like the lebanese and Israelis.
I only know hummus and falafel from my Lebanese friends. If you ask a Cypriot in the road "what is a falafel" 90% they wouldn't know. Middle Eastern mindset??? Ask the thousands of Brits and Russians who come to live in Cyprus because the people are hospitable and the place is maybe the safer in the Mediterranean sea. If we have a "Middle Eastern mindset" we'd be like Syria and Israel where the people are afraid to walk in the road during night. Here you can leave your bag in a bench and you go after an hour and it is still here. I was with an English friend some days ago and she said that she never saw this before in another country. How distorted image you have... I never denied that Cyprus geographically is in the Middle East, but only geographically. As regards culture, it is in Europe. And it is in EU, while your country is not.
And how distorted image of Greece you have... You think that all Greeks look like the 12 gods of Olympus. You probably have seen only few Greeks in your life. Take a look at the pictures gr2001 posted and tell me how much different they are from the Cypriots...
