I was kidding around, it's good to question, and I have read articles about milk that fit the description he mentioned but I see more in favour than against
Anyway, I nearly did die I think, but now I am in the process of relactication, slowly intaking a small amount of dairy every day to build up tolerance.
I am really surprised at the levels of intolerance in Southern Europe. I am certainly an acception to the rule as I could skull a full liter in one go when I was a teenager. I still drink milk straight from the bottle.
I am CT for rs4988235, meaning unlikely to be lactose intolerant.

My ancestry is from areas that are green on the map, and though I don't find myself doubled over after drinking milk or eating ice cream, I do get very nauseated. I still drink it regularly though; I never mentioned to my parents that it made me sick so they didn't stop giving it to me every morning.
I'm probably Lactose Intolerent because it starts of my alergies like when I eat cheese or othe dairy products.
All my ancestry is from the green areas and I'm highly Lactose tolerant.
Map of Europe (the third image shows the tolerance degree)

I consume milk daily, don't know of a case of lactose intolerance in my family either.
I absolutely cannot take large quantities of milk in an unprocessed form. Even pasteurized and homogenized milk is devastating to my digestion. When I consume a moderate-to-large quantity milk my body reacts with asthmatic episodes, diarrhea, excess production of gas, weight gain, mucus production, and my psoriasis breaks out. I can handle small quantities of milk powders used in baked goods, yogurt, sour cream, cheese, etc.
If I consume milk products over a long period of time the symptoms above subside, but I am instead treated to bleeding in my colon.
