I don't think most of them are that attractive, but the look doesn't appear to be uncommon having been to Indonesia, albeit briefly.

They're among the best looking of the East Asians to me because of their brown complexions.

This is an interesting article I came across:

    http://topnews.in/usa/30-indonesian-...yrs-ago-216511

"The land of strange animals and an incredible biodiversity hotspot, Madagascar was also one of the last places to be inhabited by humans.

And new research suggests that didn''t happen until about 1,200 years ago.

The colonization might even have been an accident, the researchers say. A small group of Indonesian women settled the island in one fell swoop, possibly making their way there after their trading vessel capsized.

“The unusual thing about this island is Madagascar is a long way away from Indonesia. … It was also settled very recently; by this time, most of the world had already been settled,” study researcher Murray Cox, of Massey University in New Zealand, said.

“We are talking about an entire culture being trans-located across the Indian Ocean.”

Previous genetic research showed that, surprisingly, instead of coming from Africa, the people living on the island off the east coast of Africa seem to have come from Indonesia, another island nation a quarter of the world, or some 3,500 miles (about 5,600 kilometers), away."

You can see a lot variability of the indonesian people in this video. Some look black, some look asian, some look hispanic. None look like filipinos though. ONly the Girl with the blue Hijab looks somewhat filipino.

I lived in a Area in America that had many Cambodians and Filipinos (about 25% of the city (250k Population) at the time , who can both range from Dark to light. Nobody, and mean NOBODY who was Filipino or Cambodian mistook one for the other. We always could know right away who was Cambodian and who was Filipino.

I'd say most Indonesians look more like Cambodians and other Mainland SEA (loas, Viets etc.)

Ok, that's how you see it (and so does the UN). My nomenclature is different:

I see East Asians as a "header group" for both Southeast Asian (Burma, Malaysia, Indonesia, etc.) and Northeast Asian populations (Chinese, Japanese, Koreans).

    They are both indonesian .

Anggun's phenotype is almost same as Mica, But from that pic Anggun is much darker than Mica. I've seen some other photos of Anggun and she got morena skin color which is not too much darker.

Anggun's skin color sometimes like this

    Same as Mica's skin color

Mostly, Southeast Asians have this kind of skin color

hmm yeah there is similarities specially a little bit in the nose. Shamcey looks a bit like South Asian or sometimes Latina in different angle.

look closely to Ximena Navarette from Mexico lol
Ximena even said that to her that she does look like one of Latina.
