Okay yes the K8 may be looking like the best for this type of analysis but for the masses that use GEDmatch obviously the Eurogenes K9 is the best for sorting out these ancient types of European ancestry right?

There's also the K8, which is probably more optimal than the K9 or K10, and indeed that's what my blog entry was based on.

I did PCA of K8 for those populations with over 40% North European hunter gatherer component.
I grouped them according to the amount of the North European component as explained on the plot:




Now I will look at the other components.
