Well, that new cutting-edge skyscraper in the middle of Warsaw was supposed to be finished on the outside by now...but it doesn't look like it based on a recent pic. Tsk, tsk...
It'll look like this when it's done...
However, the Old Town square in Krakow is looking awesome. So it's kind of weird that Krakow wasn't chosen as one of the host cities, despite the fact that it does have all the required sporting infrastructure. Nevertheless, the Dutch, Italian and English teams will be based here, and live games will be shown on a huge screen in the town square.
The British press had a few articles about Krakow lately in the context of the Euros, so here's one...
Pitch up in cracking Krakow, the Polish playground for England's football hopefuls

I heard that 20% of Ukraine's population will be unemployed during the UEFA 2012, because prostitution won't be allowed during the games.
Also, crematoriums drive around Ukraine, burning stray dogs...

Gdańsk is still under contruction and some investments will not be finished.
On the other hand - the stadium looks great:

but it's still a pain to drive from Przymorze to Brzeźno and Nowy Port - I hope they will finish this one, huge crossways on time.
(picture from wintertime this year, still looking more or less like this minus snow ofc);

But much better than that (autumn last year)

This actually looks very nice and finally I am not going to miss no exits in the night, as it happened when it was still under construction:

As far as I concerned, I feel no interest in that Championship. For three reasons:
1. - According to its name, it seems that only European countries should participate.
2. - Spanish national team has, at least, 9 foreigners. Obviously, that is not a national team, but a very bad joke.
3. - Spain is a very poor country that cannot afford to send 23 underpanted millionaires to kick a ball to the other corner of the World...
My best hope is they will get back home soon: if it is possible, after the first match.

It really, really bothers you that people used to say things like 'Africa begins at the Pyrenees', doesn't it?Cenicillas
Spain is closer to Turkey or Morocco than the Europe we all would wish. So get out!PLEASE BE FAIR AND JOIN: http://www.forumbiodiversity.com/group.php?groupid=190Mary
While Poles as a group are still racially inferior to Spaniards as a group. I think this shows that Spaniards as a group have suffered a decrease in racial quality. Most probably through mixing with lower races.
