There are a variety of ideal looks, but all of them include shapeliness of the lower body, thickish thighs and round backsides to be specific.

^ As you can see from this picture, contrary to popular belief, these ideals do not exclude women with slender frames. Her thicker thighs and round backside place her well within the Afram ideal.
Ideal beauty in my culture(kerela-malayali) is this: large round eyes, small round face, thick lips, and what some north-indians call mardas-nose(slightly bulbous nose).
"Mardas" nose? Its funny they call it that, whatever it is...I have a similar "slightly bulbuous" nose shape at the tip but never thought it could be considered ideal lol
I'll never understand what the big deal is about blue or green eyes it looks like mutation especially on latinos asians and black people and makes men look feminine. And j.lo is average looking without that figure she would be slighty below hit the puerto rican parade in new york or chicago and you'll see what im saying. puerto ricans laugh at j.lo being voted most beautiful
