View Poll Results: Which theme do you think should be the default skin?
In fact, I like the BlueHaze Fixed Width theme most of all, but it isn't included in the poll options, so I voted for the default theme.
I'm going to redo the poll, post me goodlooking themes you'd like to see included in the next poll.
“The idea that any kind of free society can be constructed in which people will never be offended or insulted is absurd. So too is the notion that people should have the right to call on the law to defend them against being offended or insulted. A fundamental decision needs to be made: do we want to live in a free society or not?”

I'm liking the 'Geek Out' and 'Geek Out Fluid' themes. EDIT:
''Good arguments and
criticism for and against why I think it should be default'' :
It's easy on the eyes and has a great feel to it. The website loaded slower for me on the other themes and now it's much better. It's more user friendly overall. I'm starting to like this more than Mac OS.

Reason: Adding something constructive...
Zen Mac style looks cheap IMO. I get tired of it really quick. The other two is fine. I like both. A bright one might be good as default and the other as optional as of now.
I am a big fan of the dark themes however. I use them from time to time.
Probably already mentioned, but the notifications don't seem to be displaying correctly with Zen Mac skin. If some functionality is broken under a certain skin, this seems like a good reason for it not to be the default.
Yeah, it's because some skins while made for vBulletin 4, aren't designed for vB4.2.x so some functionality is broken. Obviously, the default forum skin must have full or almost complete functionality (even the old Mac OS X theme that we used for almost three years didn't have full functionality, because it was designed for vB3.8.2 and ABF launched with 3.8.4 and upgraded to 3.8.7.
This is a good looking skin. I could buy it with the donation money, if there's enough demand for it (it costs 34 bucks). It's also made for vB4.2 so it should have complete functionality.

Cool. I'll buy(donate) this skin or some other they like from that website, which ever has more votes.

Default. Seems more professional. I think a dark theme will promote lowbrow hijinks.
A white background with dark text is also easier on the eyes when reading Large blocks of writing which is what we would expect on a science themed board. Are their any science themed boards that have dark backgrounds?
If the authors that produce the data we talk about came here what would you want them to see?
