Default Great research paper with summary of modern aDNA breakthroughs

I came across the following review and it's a great summary of all the recent Ancient DNA breakthroughs. There have been so many recently and I find it hard to keep track of them all.

Is there anything in the paper above that looks suspect or over simplified?

The 5-7kya migration from the Near East to the steppe is total bullshit.

Khvalynsk and Yamnaya have ancestry from Caucasus Hunter-Gatherers who didn't come from the Near East, but were native to the western Caucasus, and maybe even lived on the southern steppe as early as the Mesolithic.
