    Default RationalWiki on Race Realism

    http://rationalwiki.org/wiki/Race_realism

I just scrolled through this article on race realism. Mind you RationalWiki leans very left and tend to be hardcore SJW's although they have some good articles. Although I found this article to be very awful and they just completely misrepresent the view of race realism.

What do you all think of this and how would you respond to this article?

I don't think it really matters because smart people, researching this, will compare it to books, government statistics, periodicals and other webpages etc... Then come to their own conclusion.

There are five basic ways to sort truth from falsehood:

Check the reliability of the authors you read: A theologian is a less- reliable source of information than a scientist.

Compare different sources of information on the same topic (books, magazines, webpages, etc), and note the areas of disagreement or omissions. Omissions often indicate bias, while points of disagreement should be investigated to see, if possible, who is really telling the truth. Sources with obvious bias need to be studied, since these will usually have the most telling criticisms of the other side.

Observe who is willing to debate, and who is not: The former are most likely to be telling the truth, while the latter are probably trying to keep their lies from being exposed.

Observe whether the arguments are clear or obscure: the latter are a good indication of muddled thinking, and a likely marker of error.

If you yourself have a bias, be sure to study the accounts of those biased against your view: Your enemies will tell you things your friends would never think of -- or never dare to mention if they did.

I disagree with how they consider it racist and immoral to acknowledge the fact that race isn't just a social construct. Well the thing we know for sure is that race isn't just a social construct, for race is basically a way to identify populations who share common and similar phenotypes and share geographical origins. There are many labels to identify race based on phenotypes, the most common ones used being "White, Black, Asian, Amerindian, etc..", here in the US. Now there are more scientific and broad terms to identify race, such as "Caucasoid, Mongoloid, Negroid, etc..."

I think the reason they find it racist to acknowledge this is how they probably believe they're dehumanizing and archaic scientifists utilized the labels in racist/immoral fashions. But I don't see anything wrong with accepting the fact that there are, quite obviously, differing phenotypes among humans based on geographical origins and climate. I don't know if anyone has put this up, but I'd like to show an interesting chart displaying racial phenotypes among each racial category, which has some archaic influences. I'm looking forward to using it for classifications, although I'm not used to identifying the Caucasoid and Negroid categories; so complex:

US govt official: “You have observed the white man for 90 years. You’ve seen his wars and his technological advances. You’ve seen his progess, and the damage he’s done.”

Two Eagles: “When white man find land, Indians running it, no taxes, no debt, plenty buffalo, plenty beaver, clean water. Women do all the work, medicine man free, Indian man spend all day hunting and fishing, all night having sex.... Only white man dumb enough to think he could improve system like that.”
