I was just reading up on this study and I noticed this.
I don't see any of the Anatolian Neolithic component [which peaks in Modern Sardinia] in the Middle East..minus the Semitic speaking Levant of course. So in admixture models for Indo-European Near Eastern populations, do they not have any or very very little Neolithic Anatolian ancestry? Is all their farmer/Neolithic ancestry pretty much exclusively from Zagros like farmers of the Near East?
This could be particularly damning for the Anatolian homeland for PIE scheme. However, I thought modern Armenians had plenty of Neolithic Anatolian farmer ancestry..so i'm skeptical of this map.
