    your head grows, obviously, until some point. Bones can still change when you are grown up, but the head is more fixed. That means less growth through external influences (physical impact, hormones...) but there's also less bone loss when you are old. The overall size and shape stays more or less the same, but what definitely changes (until you die) is the size of the nose, for example.

    usually your face becomes more defined as you age (fat decreases, bone gets harder), but this can also change into the opposite direction.

    Many people's bones aren't even fully hardened until their 30s.

    Bottom line:
    Skull = static
    other head bones (nose, jaw) = not so much

    my great grandma's temples were strait and oval faced but as she aged they became more slanted. Can this typically happen?

    I guess my question should be rephrased.. Can your temmples get a more slanted angel on the face as you grow into, let's say your 40's/50's?

    Agree but certain parts do not change.

    What about throughout puberty?
    I swear by my life, and my love of it, that I will never live for the sake of another man, nor ask another man to live for mine.

    The changes are most dramatic and obvious during infantile maturation.

    Head size & shape does change (slower) throughout puberty and perhaps even into/after adulthood.

    I think with older age features like the nose and ears can change due to cartilage degrading or something like that.

    I would think the cranium could change a bit, at least from early childhood up to whenever the plates fuse.

    No I know the biggest changes happen in the first 2-3 years but my question was does it change during puberty at all, which you answered. My face/head shape changed a lot between 12 to early 20's.
