as to you earlier post in america white people have a cultural obsession with blacks that has put them in a very unique position. Let's also not deny the huge extent collaboration among different cultural styles shaped american popular music.

I myself love classic rnb,soul and blaxploitation films. but when you look at the crap being peddled by lil waynei have little doubt that artistic greatness is not based on genetics. and the never ending market for subpar music these days might suggest taste has less to do with talent than white guilt and conformity.
btw you look like a thai fighter. whats with the feeling towards mexicans? they are world renowned in boxing for their heart and ferocity . anyone who appreciates martial arts should be able to respect that.

What I think is an interesting phenomenon is that some White people will claim that another race is "smarter" than they are when a few data sets imply it, but this phenomena seems exclusive* to Whites. I have yet to observe other races doing the same thing when the data leans in that direction. Certainly it must happen, but I haven't seen it. Based on experience alone I feel confident in believing that this phenomenon exhibits itself at a greater frequency in Whites than other races. I wonder why that is? (I have my theories)

I'm very curious to know what our Non-White members think of this. Do you guys think my observation is wrong? Do you think it's correct? If so, do you have an explanation? (I probably should have created a thread for this)

people over the age of 16 dont listen to their music and even if they did, they probably dont like admitting it.....and i personally wouldnt consider paula deanda or frankie j "famous" either since they never reached "household name" type of celebrity status. its too bad they didn't have enough drawing power or support from the american public

Except that many are first and second generation. It took the Irish, Italians, etc. (the vast majority poor immigrants) a few generations to "make it" but apparently there are different standards for Mexicans.

A more accurate corelate would be comparing third generation Mexican-Americans with recent third generation recent African migrants including education level of the parents. African Americans are not recent migrants any more than White Americans
