Oui.

I will write in English to avoid mistakes.

He moved to Spain when a kid and later to Italy, he considered himself French, but he haven't French culture. The most i know of France is because my Grandfathers, they considered themselves French too. I like to mention the Basque part because is more exotic, you know.

You father history is very interessant. Why he left France and Spain ?

For my familyi n my father side:
The father of my father is french who was born in Gabon . The mother of my father is from Calais, her father was a german orphan who was adopted after WW2.

    In my mother side :
My mother is half-french-half-dutch. Her grand-père (?) was an anglo-german-swedish american who married my dutch great-mother. I suppose she has distant danish ancestry. Because she had Ludvigsen, Sorensen, and Emilsen in her family tree, but maybe it's just swedish too. She has a strange family name is her family tree , it's "Zarchen" . I can't find any information of that family name on internet , I believed it was scandinavian because the -en at the end. But it's not I think that should be an anglized of Zarchenconovski or Zarčenko.
