If at all, now we are under first and foremost evolutionary pressure - the density of human population and stress it brings about. Those who thrive in these swarm-like environments, will be those who'll inherit, I am afraid.

The intensity of bacteria and viruses' spread diseases (ah! the wonders of air-conditioned open spaces of modern offices!), crazy tempo of life, artificial light that changed the daily activities etc...

That's a totally new game we humans are playing.

I want "back*" to my farm on a hilltop, away from crowds...

    * Never had one obviously, yet "my emotional me" yearns for such a place.

Anyway - just my 5 cents

“We know each other,” he agreed. “They say that you follow in my steps.”
“I go my own way. But you, you had never, until just now, looked behind you. You turned back today for the first time.”
Geralt remained silent. Tired, he had nothing to say. “How... How will it happen?” he asked her at last, coldly and without emotion. “I will take you by the hand,” she replied, looking him straight in the eye. “I will take you by the hand and lead you across the meadow, through a cold and wet fog.” “And after? What is there beyond the fog?” “Nothing,” she replied, smiling. “After that, there is nothing.”

Nowadays , real scientists and philosophers write books for other scientists and philosophers not for laymen. Not because they are snobby but because it speeds up communication to use specialized nomenclature. Kaku is super over rated, as a scientist, by laymen.

"People who watch TV probably think Michio Kaku is one of the greatest living physicists, but physicists don’t. There’s probably not even one physicist who would rank Michio Kaku within the top 50 or even the top 100 best living physicists.

Michio Kaku has made some contributions, but he still isn’t even close to being one of the best physicists in modern times.

Michio Kaku is more of a media figure who writes on popular science and appears on radio and TV shows a lot.

Other physicists who are regarded as the best living physicist like Edward Witten are virtually ignored in the media."

Second of all he is not even a biologist.
