Somwhere around Central, Caucasus or Eastern Europe. Some people here seem to think because the Caucasus-East Europe-Anatolia have so many diverse linguistic branches of the Indo-European family close to the region, that alone is evidence for the homeland to be there but I think there's way too many factors that aren't being considered. The populations of Central Asia have changed so many times throughout history, the original Indo-European speakers have been completely wiped out from the region which breaks the link between Indo-Iranian and other Indo-European languages. I think the populations of Central Asia that have need to really looked at, some of them must have some kind of... perhaps a proto Iranian-Slavic connection.
