How would that improve society in your opinion? You don't believe the old wisdom that with great powers comes great responsibility?

Also, why 15%? I've seen some who prefer a tax rate for everyone at 10%.

Poland has always been an subordinate country, on one side sucking German dick, on the other side -- Russian one, some kind of "novice" europeans, who are full of inferiority complexes, hysteria and obsessity neuroses. This is also true for all Baltic countries

Because it's not fair to take away 50% of someone's income and 15% of someone else's just because the first person makes more money.

The rich would still pay more, because they earn more, but they wouldn't pay a disproportionate share.

Is it fair that the first person makes more money though? If it is, then it's also fair to tax him higher. Ultimately it's not really about what's fair or unfair; doesn't work like that in economics, but the fact that the government has a budget to maintain, and it wouldn't be able to do that with a flat tax, or lower taxes. How is the US government going to maintain the American Empire with all its thousand military bases all over the world, on a flat tax rate at 10%? And what about NASA, social security, school, welfare and so on? The lower the taxes are, the closer we get to Somalia. You wanna live in a first class Western country, you have to fund it through taxes.

It still wouldn't be enough. Government has a budget to maintain. And besides, they're still filthy rich even after paying that disproportionate share. And if they didn't pay that disproportionate tax share, they'd still be totally irresponsible with all that money anyway, like buying purses for 60,000 dollars. Now you might be a fanatic and unreasonable individualist who believes it's a woman's unquestionable right to buy a purse worth $60K, but let's say this magic purse is only available in another country, meaning, the country she's from, won't be able to collect taxes from her buying the purse. This translate to no taxes for the government. Just a flow of of money abroad; wealth leaving the country. How does that benefit the collective good? How is that good for the public at large?

All the government is doing is collecting some wealth and redistributing it for more important purposes (like education, roads, hospitals or whatever), instead of just waiting for rich bimbo to go spend all that money on buying a pair of shoes worth 100 thousand dollars, and similar irresponsible hedonistic degeneracy.
