Oh ok so Japanese ain't into that. What about Chinese? They are notoriously known for eating these animals.

I have never eaten coon or possum but I have hunted, killed, and eaten squirrel. We also raised rabbits for food when I was younger.

Possum falls into the vermin category to me, like a giant rat. I think it is mainly due to their appearance. Coon I would try if I had the opportunity, as long as it was from the back woods, not one that had been raiding trash cans in the suburbs.

Anyway, didn't mean to derail the vegetarian thread or gross anyone out.

It's all good Like I said I come from meat eating cultures so I can discuss this stuff. Idk about other vegetarians though. I was grossed out when I saw my lady eating chicken feet though, but in her culture (JA) it's totally normal lol.

Hey MK, that book looks awesome, I'm going to check it out! The problem with veggie food sometimes is it's so bland.
I usually end up adding nuts, cheese, milk, or other proteins with fat which defeats the purpose.

People have to eat meat, it is part of the balance of the nature. If we dont eat the cows, the pigs and the goats the will increase in number and damage the ecosystem.

"Be fruitful and increase in number; fill the earth and subdue it. Rule over the fish of the sea and the birds of the air and over every living creature that moves on the ground."
    Genesis 1:28

I think man should not be vegetarian, neither pregnant woman. People needs proteins.
