Its totally dependent on the island and the family.Moluccans are very diverse.

The people from Seram,Kei,and Aru are the most blatantly Australoid.Kei and Aru look almost like straight Papuans, some like Aboriginals.Seram is a mix but still mostly pure Wallacean.Other Moluccans look Veddoid or Tamil.

Btw I believe Melanesians taken together from Wallaceans,Papuans, and Pacific Melanesians are the most diverse Asia-Pacific group by far.Even moreso with Australians included, they range from Veddoid types like Toalids,Negritos,to Malayo Melanesids,to Neo Melanesids like most pure Highland Papuans,to Aboriginal archaic phenotypes,to Paleo Melanesids of the South Pacific. And all these types overlap and are found in varying mixes and forms in every region of Melanesia, and then modern Southeast Asian and Polynesian/Micronesian admixture found in parts as well.We are far more diverse than Micronesians and Polynesians, and I believe the most diverse is definitely Moluccans because of our more recent admixtures.I believe the Indigineous diversity of Melanesia comes from the multiple waves of "Archaic" populations.Imo,Melanesia is akin to the country of India in sheer diversity.

Hey,as Moluccans we are the jack of spades, super diverse and we had lots of influences from outsiders unlike other Melanesian!
