They look the closest to Southern Italians, Malta and Cypriots.

I think that they can fit in Sicily and South Greece, also as you excluded, but Cyprus too)

People would like to believe such types don't exist in Spain. They do. Maybe not in large number but I also won't pretend all Spaniards are the rugged Western gods that some on the internet make them out to be.

I did select Spain because even a few Catalonians (Fabregas, Busquets, Xavi, and Guardiola) have an Eastern vibe to them. And then some like Claudia Bassols look very Western.

I picked Spain because it is so varied. I also picked other Med nations but do want to get real and mention that very Southern and Eastern looking people could pass in Spain as a repeated type.

Some of these people wouldn't look super out of place in Northern Spain for that matter. I mean really anywhere in Northern Spain they would probably go unnoticed if they didn't speak. Some of these people could be pseudo Cantabrian or Gallegos.

Based on those pics, nowhere, really. Except for Cyprus, plenty could pass there, I guess.
