    my favorite one was the Yucatec Maya, the song is great
    and my second favorite was Mixtec, the song is awesome

    but overall, they are all beautiful languages

    Thats interesting. According to DNA tribes, my NA ancestors mostly came from NE Chiapas. I had never even heard of Cho’l Maya before then. I had heard of mayan of coarse but not the diferent dialects mayans had.

    I have distant near pure Mayan relatives according to 23andme. I wonder why is that? I guess maybe some of my Nahuatl ancestors intermixed with many of the mayans during the pre-colonial period.
