The character in O Bother was based on Tommy Johnson, another Blues musician from Mississippi but unrelated to Robert

Satanism is a myth. "Satanic" hand gestures for example, have been used in Rock and roll, since the 60's. The Beatles were known for it, and the majority of heavy metal bands. There is nothing 'satanic' about the gesture. It was used for many centuries to 'ward off evil', not induce it. All the religious railing only ends up drawing attention to such things, and makes it even more popular. Back in the 50's, people said that Elvis Presley was leading children to hell, though his Rock and roll, the use of "the devil's music", and that's why the networks would only film him, from the waist up. The sad truth is that all mainstream music is bland and over publicized rubbish, and should be ignored. It's threads like these that give "conspiracy" a bad name.

“We know each other,” he agreed. “They say that you follow in my steps.”
“I go my own way. But you, you had never, until just now, looked behind you. You turned back today for the first time.”
Geralt remained silent. Tired, he had nothing to say. “How... How will it happen?” he asked her at last, coldly and without emotion. “I will take you by the hand,” she replied, looking him straight in the eye. “I will take you by the hand and lead you across the meadow, through a cold and wet fog.” “And after? What is there beyond the fog?” “Nothing,” she replied, smiling. “After that, there is nothing.”

The part in bold type is incorrect. "They" only filmed him from the waist down because "they" thought he moved/danced like a "Black" man; not to mention, Rock-n-Roll was invented by "Black" people from the Southern Delta regions of the United States, which in the early days of the genre, was still very much associated with "Black" people (well, with all of the gyrating/rolling (hence, Rock-n-Roll) the hips/pelvic thrusts and singing about secular shit). Why would "they" want "their" children following a man who obviously emulated everything about a people "they" so openly despised?

Iron Maiden's The Number of the Beast, was obviously more of a cultural theme they chose for that particular album. Iron Maiden also made a song about Alexander the Great (it's actually a good song). Now obviously they're not actual Satanists, but it's just part of their themes for various songs. In Run to the Hills, the song opens up from the perspective of native Americans, but to accuse Iron Maiden, and so on.

I think it would make more sense to accuse someone like Marilyn Manson of being a Satanist, than Iron Maiden.

Anyway, some of the Satanist accusations/associations are based on hidden, backmasked messages in their songs (similar to what can be seen in the first Exorcist film):

In fact, they are not even the Europeans in strict sense, meaning European as in bearing the responsibility and understanding of European interests. Poland has always been an subordinate country, on one side sucking German dick, on the other side -- Russian one, some kind of "novice" europeans, who are full of inferiority complexes, hysteria and obsessity neuroses. This is also true for all Baltic countries
