Default Northern Italians: Who overlaps with them

Since our resident who overlaps with who thread starter, hasn't made a thread on Northern Italians. I might as well start one.

I would probably say Spaniards, French and Austrians. Likely Slavic-speaking Central Europeans as well.

Then I go up, and look at myself in profile and from the front and in all angles, in all my mirrors that I have mounted up everywhere, and realise my Mongolian heritage and how the Swedes view me. Sometimes I cannot see the difference between myself and a Mongol, if the environment is cloudy.

Central Italians, Southern French and Spaniards. In that order I'd say. After that, likely Swiss.

    C. Italians, Austrians, French, S.Italians and some Balkan ethnicities, like Croats.

French, Spaniards and the like though I'm not familiar with subregions in France and the like so there might be differences but that's who they tend to remind me of. And interestingly; they often overlap with them on an autosomal level ([-]) as opposed to being closer to Tuscans, Sicilians, Southern Italians and the like who pull more towards groups like Greeks & Ashkenazim than anything else though they do pull towards other Italians.

There's a guy from Venice at my uni and he often reminds me of a French guy I used to know...

I was hesistant about Spaniards, I've only seen some who look like NIs, the overlap is much more noticeable with the French.
