Cool. Latvia is definitely on my 'countries-to-go' list, Switzerland is nice too but I've already been there

There are so many lists... I don't know what's the criteria for the scores here but I see that Denmark and Germany for instance are ranked in the same category as Finland. DK and DE are both countries doing a lot for becoming environmentally sustainable countries, so I'm a little confused. In an other list, Helsinki was ranked as the greenest city to live in, so I really don't know the criterias for each and every list.

    Rankings:
    17th Lithuania
    54th Estonia

How can Lithuania be so much better off than Estonia in terms of "green-ness" if:

    ESTONIA
    http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Geograp...s_and_land_use
    Land use:

    • arable land: 25%
    • permanent crops: 0%
    • permanent pastures: 11%
    • forests and woodland: 44%
    • other: 20% (1993 est.)

    • permanent pastures: 7%
    • forests and woodland: 31%
    • other: 15% (1993 est.)

And the biggest joke of all is UK being 9th this year - oh, how I wish it was true, but, honestly.. LMAO.

    UK

    Land use:

    • Arable land: 25 %
    • Permanent crops: 0 %
    • Permanent pastures: 46 %
    • Forests and Woodland: 10 %

    • Other: 19 %

Sooo green... Whatever criteria they're using to make these rankings, it's nonsensical.

There doesn't seem to be any trend.

    .
Permanent pasture is our green and pleasant land, taste the sheep & cattle that fatten on it. Our pastures and woodland add up to more than yours plus your permanent crops of which the UK has considerably more than 0% - it has orchards, soft fruits, nuts and vines.

Estonia adds up to 80%, Lithuania to 85% and UK to 81%, do the maths.
