I never gave him the opportunity but yeah he would have, before I had him neutered at 4 years to calm him down some. He totally dominated my husky, would stare at her and refuse to let her eat, even when he was isolated by being locked in a chain link pen.

It's amazing how some dogs can be alpha, even the smaller ones can be alpha trying to bark and bully much bigger dogs. The akita ofc is not a small dog, so he's justified in his behavior.

    I like Finnish Lapp dogs:

They are unfortunatetly not fit for South Swedish climate.

she is also extremely aggressive when it encounters other female dogs, she will bark, bite and try to harass them. However when it encounters males of its own side or smaller, she will be very nice with them. When it encounters males which way bigger, she will "flirt" with them, its funny to see.

When my Akita was a pup I dated a woman who had an older female Springer Spaniel, which loved humans but hated other dogs including him. We tried to manage the situation and I actually beat her dog's ass once for biting him on the nose. After he got older she would still growl at him and harass him when they were around each other... She would instigate, like if he laid down she would stalk him and growl. We would call her down but it was only temporary. One day when he was around 2 she did that and he bitch slapped her with a paw and was standing over her snarling when we separated them. Soon after we separated and she got a male Chow mix who apparently got the same level of harassment.

I'm exactly like that too. The thing I dislike so much about many girls is: "What is it with girls and tiny, barking dogs?"

    http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Soft-Co...heaten_Terrier

I have only good experience of that kind. They bark extremely rarely and really love their owners. The fur has to be cut, but it's good for allergics. Barely loses any hair. My dog is very calm, cosy and good to me. She's always coming when I call.

Then I go up, and look at myself in profile and from the front and in all angles, in all my mirrors that I have mounted up everywhere, and realise my Mongolian heritage and how the Swedes view me. Sometimes I cannot see the difference between myself and a Mongol, if the environment is cloudy.

The Akita is big now. I wonder what the Springer Spaniel would do now if only she were around.
