Very old pyramidal structures, though the first one is oblong, it still has a stepped design. The current structure may be from around 4000 BCE, with an earlier phase of construction around 4800 BCE. It may have looked a bit different originally, as it has been used for quarrying stone and who knows what could have happened through all those years? First one was a megalithic grave cairn.

Second one is not quite as old, the Monte d'Accoddi ziggurat. Whether the original platform was pyramidal is unknown, but it was transformed into a ziggurat type structure at some point, around 2800 BCE, while the original platform was perhaps as old as 3500 BCE, perhaps even older.

Can you provide peer-reviewed evidence of this pyramids existence? It looks a lot like a typical Florida landfill, to be honest.
