Default Pyramid cultures from around the world.

Since i cannot post pictures in the Architectural section, therefore i decided to post here and somewhat change the title.

Hopefully, this be a fun and educational thread at the same time. As the title said from the other thread, post pictures of pyramids from around the world, whether ancient, modern, well preserved or decrepit, post pictures of pyramids from around the world, and those familar with pyramids can educate us in the purpose of building such structures, and those that have different opinions whether pyramids were done by visitors from other planets, or otherwise your theory is welcomed as well.

Also, tell me what these monuments mean to you and humanity as as whole?

The Sumerian Ziggurat, Some people consider it a pyramid or the first pyramid, other consider it something else, so it depends on who points of view to consider.

These monuments imo are all in connection with pyramids all over the world, they must have had a deeper meaning that has long been lost as civilization advanced into the future.

The Borobudur monument in Java, Indonesia is the largest pyramidal structure that I'm aware of in Southeast Asia. It is a reminder of the Buddhist past and influence in the region. There are many reliefs depicting large ships, animals such as horses, and vehicles. The monument was built around 825 AD.

These is my favorite pyramid place at Mexico.

    The Great Teotihuacán:

The early history of Teotihuacan is quite mysterious, and the origin of its founders is debated. For many years, archaeologists believed it was built by the Toltec. This belief was based on colonial period texts, such as the Florentine Codex, which attributed the site to the Toltecs. However, the Nahuatl word "Toltec" generally means "craftsman of the highest level" and may not always refer to the Toltec civilization centered at Tula, Hidalgo. Since Toltec civilization flourished centuries after Teotihuacan, the people could not have been the city's founders.

The city reached its peak in 450 AD, when it was the center of a powerful culture whose influence extended through much of the Mesoamerican region. At its peak, the city covered over 30 km² (over 11½ square miles), and probably housed a population of over 150,000 people, possibly as many as 250,000.[7] Various districts in the city housed people from across the Teotihuacano region of influence, which spread south as far as Guatemala. Notably absent from the city are fortifications and military structures.
