The Indus Valley Civilization may be named after the Indus River but many of its major sites aren't near it and many are in modern day India.

Yes, they are not next to the Indus but those sites are considered collectively as part of the Indus Valley Civilization. There is no ancient Pakistani history. It's ancient South Asian history.

Get a life you asinine, racist rodent. Your attempts at condescending discourse make you seem only more foolish. Immature name calling by a 30 year old with atrocious English grammar, spelling and comprehension skills coupled with a vehement and rabid sense of pseudo-nationalism and patriotism doesn't exactly elevate your image in the eyes on anyone. Stop derailing scientifically-oriented and wholly objective threads into immature, tourettes-esque, unwarranted name-calling.

I think the majority of the IVC ancestry is still cocnnetrated in Sindh and South Punjab. You still see more West Eurasian mtdnas (specifically West Asian ones) here along with significant ydna J2a and L. I don't get the point in Dravidian trying to claim a heritage which is concentrated among NW Indians/Pakistanis. Tamil Brahmins are the only ones in South India with this IVC ancestry. I doubt thre were large scale migrations out of the area especially considering the Northern components don't reach higher than 10% in Sindh.

Could you kindly post some mtDNA haplogroup frequencies of groups in the areas in question? That would make for good reference and add onto the discussion.
