Default Were Genghis Khan and Attila the Hun of Mongoloid descent?

StormFront members seem to have a hard time coping with the history that Temujin and Attila has left on Europe. They claim these two were Aryan/Caucasoid warriors.

Any truth to this? I've heard that Genghis belonged to the C3 haplogroup nad that he had a huge head. Attila was described as having a flat nose, pinholes for eyes, swarthy skin, and short of stature with a large head. These sound like Oriental traits to me, rather than Europoid.

The proto-Turks are described as Mongoloid Central Asians. Take Kul Tigin for example.

They were both Asiatic. When you read how the Romans described the Huns, you get the impression that they were physically very different from the Romans. They seem to be trying to describe a people with Mongoloid characteristics, which obviously seemed very strange to the Romans.

I always considered both to be Mongoloid/Asiatic. I must have heard that when I was kid. I think Genghis Khan was Mongolian, and Attila the Hun was from somewhere in Central Asia.
In fact that was the reason for me taking my first biogeographical DNA test, to see if I had any East Asian ancestry. I'm part Slavic and I grew up being told I must be part Mongolian. Several DNA tests later, long story short, I don't have any East Asian ancestry.

they say Temudjin had read hairs and grey eyes, what frequently occurs in M/E hybrids. Some say that his mother was of Kyrkyz origin, thus the fair features, whereas Attila almost certainly was a M/E hybrid too, as most of his Huns showed a predominant E feature. However we know that M features dominated the ruling class of the Avars, hence the ruling class of the Huns almost certainly was predominant M.

Thus I believe both were M/E hybrids with M dominating.
