Indeed, I have always thought she could easily pass as Paz Vega's sister:

The ponit is that most castizos can easily be mistaken as pure med types, you wouldn't notice the difference in most of them.

Anahí, Ana de la Reguera and Aracely Arámbula don't seem Mestizas to me. They're pred Caucasoid if not down right Criollas.

Personally, I have a problem with Mexico using the word "Mestizo" for everybody in the country. A person who is 95% Caucasoid and 5% Amerindian shouldn't be considered a Mestizo, this person just has some admixture but in phenotype and even in genotype, this person is Caucasian. I highly doubt that Anahí is 40% Amerindian. She may have some admixture, but not enough to call her a Mestiza. It may be common to consider every single Mexican a "Mestizo" but I, as a Mexican, when I see a person who definitely does not fit in the mold of a "Mestizo", I will not call him or her a Mestizo just because he or she's a Mexican. I can understand where the OP is coming from but I believe it is time to stop considering every single Mexican a Mestizo, there may be some admixture in all of us, but not enought to be considered Mestizos in the strict sense of the word.
