There weren't many genuinely Medieval Gothic churches in Scandinavia, but there's one in Uppsala, built by bricks and limestone. It's the biggest church in all of Scandinavia! 119 m tall spires and also 119 m long. The original spires burned, so it didn't have spires for a long period, the current spires were added only in 1880. Initially the construction started in 1272, but it took a couple of hundred years to finish! Most interestingly, many of the original frescos were found under the white wash and have been restored. The building used to have flying buttresses and several small spires, but they have been removed, so it looks a bit more plain now than it would've looked originally.

20th century neo-gothic cathedral from the US, very much similar to the French Medieval cathedrals.

St. Patrick's Cathedral (Manhattan) is better looking, IMO. It's just squeezed within all those huge skyscrapers, so it doesn't look as big as it really is. This one stand more freely.

Kind of boxy, as it has no real big towers, but the interior is impressive, Palma Cathedral:

A different Gothic style, Brick Gothic. This is the Brick Gothic church with the tallest nave, the highest vaulted ceiling.

It was badly damaged in WWII, but has been restored.

I've been to Germany last year and took some pics of this Lutheran church in Ulm. At 160 meters tall, it is supposedly the tallest church in the world.

I liked Germany a lot, if I had to describe it with one word, I'd say it is cozy. Minus the ugly modern constructivist architecture in some places.

They have recreated the original colour of the facade of Amiens cathedral, which can be seen at night. They have developed a way of colouring with lights, so it does not modify the structure. It can obviously only be seen at night, but it was the way the gothic cathedrals were painted originally.
