    Default Awesome new website! www.humanphenotypes.com

I just discovered this impressive website.

    http://www.humanphenotypes.com/

Its launch was announced yesterday on Anthroscape, the maker of it is still open for any suggestions:

    http://s1.zetaboards.com/anthroscape/topic/5024374/1/

It provides a taxonomy of 115 phenotypes and also features some really well done morphs of each type.
I've only just browsed through it but i really like what i've seen sofar, each part of the world's diversity is well represented. I see he's also using the Guinesid type as i had proposed some time ago

Forum member Qquake linked me to that a few days ago. That's where I got the morphs for my classification thread. Its a pretty cool site and quite informative if you ask me.

^ You're awfully hasty with your verdict, only took you 2 minutes

Like i said i've only browsed through it, haven't really checked out the descriptions. But the morphs i've seen look outstanding.
The maker of the website is a pretty modest guy btw. It's not like he has any scientific pretensions with the whole thing. It's just meant as an introduction into phenotypical diversity around the world.

It is all still a work in progress and you may discover typos, mistakes or morphs that are not perfect yet. I am not a studied anthropologist so I may need help from experts to make the website more accurate.

The webpage is meant to help people to get an rough idea of the typical looks (of native people) around the world and their geographical distribution. It should help to make people interested in anthropology. It does not replace anthropological literature in any way. It is more a fun project. However, I try to be complete, e.g. cover the whole world.

I thinkthe phenotype are quiet well represented but the history behind those, is almost total bullshit.

Good to see that interdependently portals like this are being developed. Obviously it is in tweak mode and errors are being corrected. I liked it. Was quite informative. There are going to be mistakes in there, and misrepresentations. But the creator is open for criticism, which is cool. Nice share, thanks again.
