The Future of Mexican Architecture with One of Its Leading Young Architects

Frida Escobedo cofounded her first architecture firm at the nascent age of 24. Just three years later she launched a solo practice in her hometown of Mexico City, where she began honing her highly stylized approach to traditional Mexican design.

Is Mexico City the new mecca for modern architecture?

Mexico City emerged as a global architectural capital in the years before the 1968 Olympics. Designers in the U.S. and Europe began to work in Mexico, and welcome Mexican architects into their professional circles, even as Mexican architects became more focused on questions of national identity. In 1980, Mexican architect Luis Barragán was honored with the second-ever Pritzker Prize, architecture's most prestigious award.

Now, Mexico City is in the middle of another architectural renaissance.

"This city is amazing. Every corner has inspiration for me," said Tatiana Bilbao, founder of Tatiana Bilba Estudio, a Mexico City-based firm that works around the world. She takes cues from the blend of pre-Hispanic indigenous culture, Spanish colonialism and modern globalization in the city of 24 million people.

"We're living in this moment of all these cultures becoming almost one in the whole world, and how does that work, how does that confront — that's something that is always on my mind and is very inspiring for me in this city, very exposed in this city, how those worlds collided," Bilbao said.

I dont think there has been pictures/videos posted of people from Aguascalientes(at least not very many), its a state located in Central Mexico, culturally speaking, they have more in common with Western Mexico, it is also part of the Bajio region and pheno-wise, they are on average harnizo. I find their dark skin women so sexy and attractive lol I am so in love with them, I will post them soon though, I will first post affordable nightclubs which the average can afford to enter, then post private ones to showcase the differences between classes which I think its important, although I don't think there will be any major differences as in regions in Southern Mexico where the differences between classes is huge when it comes to phenotypes, same applies to Mexico City (from my experience being there)
