Outside of spiritual or moral beliefs, culture is merely age old habits that have developed locally over time. Even something as simple as erecting a Christmas Tree is merely a sign of N.European pagan conversion to a local form of Christianity. There is nothing stopping anyone from decorating a Christmas Tree during the yuletide, but it's culturally N/NW European to do so. Yet many parts of the world do it.

I would marry outside my culture provided the moral/religious differences were not so severe.
I too, think that religion would be much more divisive than culture. In my case it was not either time, as neither one of my husbands was religious and could be categorized as "laid back" about it. They were from rather different cultural backgrounds in regard to my own though and that certainly was not an issue at all. It was mostly a learning experience.

Then again, it seems to me that people need to be open to the new and different", else it is not going to work either. If either one--or their families--feel threatened in their identity, then it will be rough. On the other hand, think about the kids. Mine have the best of all worlds, they are part of four cultures. Makes for interesting dinner choices.
Morality is doing what is right, no matter what you are told.
Religion is doing what you are told, no matter what is right.

Same here, though I have to admit I have to be madly in love to do that. But yes, I would marry someone outside my religion, as long as he is not a freak, and it's relaxed...
