Default U6a3 Mtdna in the New World

So the Phylotree updated to the latest version and i am getting more and more clarity on my grandfathers U6a3. Most of these where confirmed in the 2012 revision but so far "real" U6a3's stay U6a3 in the latest phylotree, others change.

There have been around 15+ Afro New Worlders with This Mtdna, most are Afram like 80% of them, the exceptions are...

    1 Dominican (My Grandfather)
    1 Trini
    1 Jamaican
    1 Cuban
    1 Brazilian
1 Euro American who is 0.5% African... So perhaps via here.

So far anyone who is 100% euro in the new world or European seems to have U6a3a1a or U6a3d1 but no one who is 100% Euro So far has been U6a3% or U6a3b or U6a3c. There is one man who is Moroccan but i havent seen his mthap tool analysis to confirm its the same type of U6a3, i do know he has as Fulani cousin from Guinea so he must have recent west african ancestry.

U6a3 is obviously a berber mtdna originally but seems to have taken root in Upper West Africa sometime Back.

In this paper it is clear Who carries the most U6a3, its very common in Guinea-Bissau.

    http://www.biomedcentral.com/content...12-234-s7.xlsx

There are a couple of Euro instances but due to the odds against it, its more probably those Euro instances are from recent African ancestry eithre from North-Africa or direct senengambians, for the amount of Euro mtdna that has been sampled its very very tiny.

Also one Afram came out U6a3b and this is ONLY present in Guinea-Bissau sofar.

In the case of my Grandfather his first match is U6a3* However the 2nd match is U6a3c and the difference can only be found out if he had HVR2 (full sequence) done, so i can't disregard him possibly being U6a3c and i can't also say he is. If in the future i find he is U6a3c that mutation is also Guinea-Bissau specific.

Mt-dna U6* is rare amongst West African women but it remains consistent. Both U5 and U6 (where ever U5 is found U6 is as well) has been found amongst Ghanaian, Nigerian, Burkinabe, Senegambian, Guinean etc women.
Here's a pic of the Mt-dna U6 tree and where it's been found

So far i am just U6a3* but 23andme doesn't have a deep mtdna test so i dont know for sure. I suspect i am simply the U6a3 from Guinea-Bissau, It seems to match me the best so far, although i wish i had more snps.
