I know the whole Filipino population in the Philippines don't look like these celebrities. The Filipinos that you posted definitely look different from East Asians. Most of them look Eurasian or could pass as a Mestizo. Its funny that one of the men on the first page has Ding Dong as his name.

That's why I put Filipino Actors/Actresses on the title page. Well Filipino nicknames are different lol there's Kring-Kring Gonzales hehe... Dan-Dan, Jun-Jun, Mai-mai, Len-Len it is an Austronesian roots nickname such as our food like Sapin-Sapin. Mestizos dominates the entertainment and modeling industry. It started since 20's.

Aiko Melendez is mixed of Japanese from her mother

Iwa Moto is mixed of Japanese

Jay Manalo is mixed Vietnamese from his mother

Raymond Bagatsing is mixed Indian 'Singh' Filipinized as BagatSING

Kim Chiu, Xian Lim, Richard Yap, Enchong Dee is mixed of recent Chinese immigrant

Mikee COJUANGCO, Angel LOCSIN, Jenny SYQUIA, Nicole Kylie SYCANGCO Padilla is mixed old ancestry of Filipinized Chinese surnames but they have other ancestry aside fom that obviously.

Ejay Falcon, Solenn Heussaff, Dina Bonnevie is mixed French

Julia Montes, The Eigenmann, Helga Krafp, Piolo Pascual is mixed German...

Meagan Young, Wilma Doesnt, Alice Dixson, Bobby Andrews,
& Angelica Panganiban, Father and son Janno Gibbs and Ronaldo Valdez, Christine Jacob, Jackie Forster and Mikki Ferriols, Christopher de Leon (his mother is half white American-German Jewish from maternal grandfather), Jaclyn Jose, Matet de Leon, Lotlot de Leon, Ian de Leon are mixed of Americans

Anne and Jasmine Curtis-Smith is mixed Australians

Emilio Garcia, I know his grandfather is Native American

Richard Gomez, Romy Diaz, Cheska Diaz, Kiko Estrada (Son of Cheska Diaz & Gary Estrada) is mixed of Mexican

The rest you obviously notice from phenotype and surnames but some actors they don't used their original surnames or even names.

    Yeah, that annoyed me.

I wish that the entertainment industry will pay attention to aspiring actors/actresses who look like regular Filipino people.

That will make the "colonial mentality" will disappear or give Filipinos appreciate the true beauty of its people.

These two brothers on YouTube are half Afram and half Filipino, they make vlogs. I haven't watched them in a while though. Their you tuber name is Pinoy Eagle, they just happen to have a similar name to you. You can see in their videos, everyday Filipinos. That are non celebrities and who haven't been watered down too much by other races.

The other problem is the advertisement regarding whitening products, I hate that ad 'kutis artista' and they take a model/actor who is naturally light skin too. Instead of supporting our people on appreciating their natural color.

Is it just me or Marc Pingris in the last picture looks like David Boreanaz from Bones and Buffy?
