Spaniards The most good-looking people in the European continent.

Spaniards come across as Euro-Hamites just like the rest of the Mediterranean's. The West Mediterranean such as Spain and Portugal have Berberid-Hamitic ancestry whereas the East Mediterranean such as the Balkans and Italy have Somalid-Hamitic ancestry. But let's not forget that Mediterranean also have other ancestry such as Arabid & Levant and other diverse European ancestry.

In terms of looks though, I think Sardinians are my personal favorite Europeans/ Meds.

Would you consider Cruz and Banderas atypical? Or not entirely representative? I've noticed from some images of Spaniards that the Banderas and Cruz look is not as common as the average person would like to think. Do you agree?

In my opinion, I like the Portuguese

Banderas and Cruz are definitely atypical, which is why it ruffles up Spain's feathers when they're represented by them.

I don't think Cruz and Banderas are soooo atypical, but I think Salvador Dalí, for example, is more representative.

People often say that Javier Bardem is not ok, but, to me, he's fine and very Spanish.

I think that these kind of "robust" faces are the most "Spanish" traits ever (and Iberian). When I think of the Conquistadores, the first thing that comes to my mind is a person with strong facial traits.

However, have to remember that many of the conquistadors had some Moorish & Sephardic ancestry(escaping from Inquisition Spain). I do agree with you that it's one of the faces that pops up when I think about them.
