Default (Gene Dominancy) Males vs Females

What gender do you think has the highest chance of dominating their offsprings phenotype? Do you look more like your mother or father or do you take after both of your parent's equally? In my opinion males tend to have stronger genes than females and they have a upper hand in the genetics game. This isn't always the case though, because there are also a lot of people in this world who look just like their mother and nothing like thier father. What do you think?

Pretty sure I look more like my mother. I'm adopted though my parents describe my biomother as looking almost fully indigenous. She(my biomom) described my biofather as one would picture your typical harnizo/castizo(pred european). I myself am a balanced mestizo when it comes to genetics but regarding my appearance I look predominately amerindian. Normally I see sons looking like maternal side and the opposite with daughters.

I think it depends. I have been told numerous times that I resemble my mother, and I must say, it's quite true. I've looked at my mom's old pictures when she was my age, and we looked really similar. I definitely got my height from both of my parents. All of my relatives are also close to 6’ or taller. Also, my older brother is an exact replica of my dad. I tend to think I'm closer in looks to my mom, and closer to my dad's personality.

Genes are not dominant based on any gender correlation. Autosomal DNA doesn't work that way. Some are born mostly based on their mom, or dad, or sometimes look like a mix of both, or sometimes like neither parent.

I agree with EliasAlucard on this. Gender does not make a gene dominant.
Because so few people on this site seem to have much knowledge of how DNA works, it is a good idea to explain some of it.
Autosomal DNA is a term used to describe DNA which is inherited from the autosomal chromosomes. An autosome is any of the numbered chromosomes, as opposed to the sex chromosomes(X & Y chromosomes). Humans have 22 pairs of autosomes and one pair of sex chromosomes. Autosomes are numbered roughly in relation to size. Chromosome 1 has approximately 2800 genes and chromosome 22 has approximately 750 genes.

Info from International Society of Genetic Geneology.

One thing I have noticed over the years is the number of blond haired women compared to the number of blond haired men. I think the ratio may be as high as 500 to 1. This is confusing as to why this ratio is so high.
