It's based on a comic, not "Hollywood propaganda" or any clandestine BS brainwashed conspiracists come up with.

    Default Not only the Persians.

They are also inaccurate towards the Greeks.

Hollywood does not owe the Persians or Greeks anything. It is a work of fiction based on comic books. Having Spartans refer to others as boy lovers and having Persians looking like BDSM freaks is creative license, just the same as Hollywood political correctness casting Idris Elba as Heimdall in the Thor movies. Because it is based on comics, it's not really an issue.

If there were a historically based religious drama a-la Passion of the Christ about the Norse pantheon and they made Heimdall black, or a historical epic like Attila where they portrayed Xerxes as the 300 films do, then there would be a legitimate cause for complaint.
