we seem to be talking at cross purposes because I didn't claim, or intend to claim, that it was widespread across the green sahara. I don't know whether it was or not. I was talking about how it could have entered into chad at that time and spread without leaving much in the way of eurasian admixture.

Read before replying next time. Or not, I'll just ignore you if you try to engage me without doing so.

I don't get exactly what you're saying here. I assume by "Arab" (who are mixes of Levant, Iran, steppe + some other stuff, depending on the region) you meant BedouinB specifically, who (per Lazaridis) aren't exact representatives of "Basal" either. Sardinians are also more "western" than any other post-Neolithic European population sampled so far, from Beaker Ireland to Minoan Crete, since the latter all have steppe or/and near eastern ancestry of the Iran-heavy variety in excess of what Sardinians do.

U6 does seem to link Iberia with North Africa (various possible events) but what are the frequencies in Sardinia?

It's nice to come up with alternative scenaria but you seem to be starting from false premises, as far as I can tell at least.

To answer you question. So far as of Feb 2018 the Y-DNA found in Prehistoric North Africa are:
E-M2*, E-M35*, R-V88*, A-M13* (Technically they weren't found in aDNA samples but still.)

The potential Y-DNA in Prehistoric North Africa:
    A0*, A00*, B1, B2a*, C*, F*, I*
