Default All Established Members can now edit the wiki!

Okay, so to speed things up, I've granted all Established Members the ability to edit and create new wiki articles. If this works out well, we'll keep it this way, and if not, we'll have to sort it out somehow, or just go back to allowing only the Wiki Editor usergroup to edit wiki content.

Anyway, just make sure to follow these simple rules when starting new articles and editing other articles:

    1) No political agendas; all content must be written free of any and all ideological POVs.

    2) Sources must be scientific sources, such as peer-reviewed journals or credible/reliable news sources and so on.

2.1) You report, with your own words, what's already established/written in these sources; no original content.

2.2) Blogs, are not reliable sources, no matter how accurate or reputable the blogger is; blogs are not acceptable sources.

    3) No edit warring or revert warring. You have disagreements? That's fine, but discuss it on the articles' talk pages, and reach a cordial conclusion on how to proceed.

    4) Try to respect other members' contributions in all articles, especially if it's high quality material; we are not in the deletionist business, unless it's absolutely necessary.

    5) And last but not least, do not include copyleft or copyright material from other wikis. All content must be written from scratch; no forking of articles from Wikipedia and so on. A wiki license will be added later, probably a copyleft one, or maybe a copyright license, we'll see, but in the meantime, all your contributions to the ForumBiodiversity.com wiki, is owned by ABF, and will be published later under a proper wiki license.

That's it for now. Those of you who will be given wiki editing rights, have agreed to these rules, and if you don't, well your wiki editing rights will be revoked if you keep it up like that.
But that said, let's get busy with the wiki!

“Susa, the great holy city, abode of their gods, seat of their mysteries, I conquered. I entered its palaces, I opened their treasuries where silver and gold, goods and wealth were amassed... I destroyed the ziggurat of Susa. I smashed its shining copper horns. I reduced the temples of Elam to naught; their gods and goddesses I scattered to the winds. The tombs of their ancient and recent kings I devastated, I exposed to the sun, and I carried away their bones toward the land of Ashur. I devastated the provinces of Elam and on their lands I sowed salt.” — Aššur-bāni-apli, Fall of Elam

I'm a Monist, so i'm not big into ancient Greek religion. The spiritual world view of the Vedic Aryans and to a lessor extent the Aryan Persians were much closer to myself than that of the Ancient Greeks and the polytheistic picture of the gods.

Though the late Neoplatonists were close....though my guess is they were influenced by the Aryans and Persians.
