It's funny how our beloved forum Negroes with their penchant for craniometrics and facial reconstructions are all silent now; @Itoli has read this thread, but he's not commenting, and Game Theory all of a sudden thinks facial reconstructions are "light weight"
According to the only full scale genome sequencing we have of Ancient Egyptians. Modern Egyptians are more Negroid than ancients.

Just saw the actual show dealing with the reconstruction.
They said AE was a melting pot from regions of Africa to folks from the Levant. The skin color was subjective and they used the color of the Berlin Bust for the skin tone.

It doesn't come through very well. The bust has a brownish tone, but the colouring of the bust is really not very naturalistic at all. In the display glass case she is bathed in light, but she does look light slightly yellowish-brown in person - but not a colour a real person would have. It certainly does not have the pinkish undertone which the new reconstruction has.

One thing that's noticeable among the busts of her, is the way her mouth looks. She has a very specific look to her mouth, which is replicated in most of her depiction, even in some murals. The alleged remains of her has no mouth region, so why did they give her that sour mouth, when most of her depictions agree on how it looked?
It even makes it a pointless exercise imho, they make a bust of her despite there are numerous busts already, based on the remains of a woman who may not be Nefertiti.

Does the show address any of that?
"A bloke walks into a pub, and asks for a pint of Adenosinetriphosphate.
The barman says "That'll be ATP please!"

The reconstruction looks kinda hamatic-med and definitely Caucasoid.
