The genes for skin color, at least for Europeans, are mostly known. It's SLC45A2, right? So I don't see how they could be wrong about that.
But the peculiar evil of silencing the expression of an opinion is, that it is robbing the human race; posterity as well as the existing generation; those who dissent from the opinion, still more than those who hold it. If the opinion is right, they are deprived of the opportunity of exchanging error for truth: if wrong, they lose, what is almost as great a benefit, the clearer perception and livelier impression of truth, produced by its collision with error.

    - John Stuart Mill, On Liberty

There's evidence from Gough's Cave that hunter-gatherers ventured back around 15,000 years ago, establishing a temporary presence when the climate briefly improved. However, they were soon sent packing by another cold snap. Cut marks on the bones suggest these people cannibalised their dead - perhaps as part of ritual practices.

Britain was once again settled 11,000 years ago; and has been inhabited ever since. Cheddar Man was part of this wave of migrants, who walked across a landmass called Doggerland that, in those days, connected Britain to mainland Europe. This makes him the oldest known Briton with a direct connection to people living here today.
    And from another report:
The analysis also ruled out an ancestral link with individuals inhabiting Gough’s Cave 5,000 years earlier, who appear to have performed grisly cannibalistic rituals, including gnawing on human toes and fingers – possibly after boiling them – and drinking from polished skull cups.
I'm interested in knowing who these earlier inhabitants of the region were and what they would have looked like. Cheddar Man here seems to represent a later migration from the south. I'm betting his ancestors would be related to the Mesolithic Iberian specimen which also yielded alleles for blue eyes and dark skin.

Knowledge is consciousness of reality. Reality is the sum of the laws that govern nature and of the causes from which they flow.

Why do you think that? Because there were people with negroid traits in mesolithic Europe?

He could have looked identical to modern Bantus, his genome profile still wouldn't have been positioned the same as modern SSAs, and that's all that matters, to conclude that he wasn't Negro

In fact, they are not even the Europeans in strict sense, meaning European as in bearing the responsibility and understanding of European interests. Poland has always been an subordinate country, on one side sucking German dick, on the other side -- Russian one, some kind of "novice" europeans, who are full of inferiority complexes, hysteria and obsessity neuroses. This is also true for all Baltic countries

That's only one of the genes involved. He was missing the derived version of that and SLC24A5. Together they supposedly account for around 40% of the difference between europeans and west africans. But for some reason they decided to make him as dark as west africans.

This really is hilarious. Does anyone here even realize these are artist's interpretation loosely based on current understanding of traits from the human genome?

There is far too much over analysis here by know-it-alls. The pro-Europeans only see European features and the pro-Blacks see negroid traits. People see what they want to see!
