They'll probably be a clinal population like every other craniofacial study shows them. Really need full genome sequencing on these samples at this point.

Reread the Abstract from the link i posted. Better yet, google the authors name + Sudan to see what we could expect from a future publication.

I'm interested in DNA analysis of Christian Nubians. Underrated period of Sudan.

If I remember correctly the Kushite kingdom started in a non-Cushite area.

Hey Beyoko, I was reading some of Matilda old blog and she claims modern Egyptians have tropical limb proportions. I can't really confirm or deny this. Do you know if this is true?

    https://www.google.com/amp/s/mathild...-compared/amp/

If so, considering the modern Egyptian genetic profile id say this isn't good for the Afrocentric crowd. Considering how much emphasis they put limb proportions.

Ancient Nubia was an exclusively Afro-Asiatic area. The Kermans and the C-Group culture were Caucosoid Afro-Asiatic speakers. The backward nilotics were latecomers

Ancient Nubia was just a general term for an area South of Egypt(i.e the Sudan) according to the Romans. With many different people inhabiting the region like @beyoku said. What on Earth are you talking about? I can't find the source yet but the Kushites were said to have came from Central Sudan which is not a Cushite speaking area. Lastly, not all Nilo-Saharan speakers are even Nilotic. But since we are on the topic of Nilotic people, do Cushites have a long tradition of wrestling like the Kushites did? Again, the people were not monolithic.
