Yeah I know it's Euro in origin, i have listed the 'racial' origins of the haplogroups but the specific location of where it originated is a difficult one. However I think from 4 haplos I don't know what they actually are.

But yeah the Euro mtDNAS were a surprise (But not a huge one IMO) but the fact that there is a (for now) no African yDNA, well that's a shock indeed. If you look at the previous comments in this thread it seems that we were dominated by Euro males just like the Spanish Caribbean niggas. African mtDNA and Amerindian mtDNa will be dominant.

You can upload your mtDNA raw data to James Lick to know your subclade, I did that too couple of years ago.

    Added some new yDNA's (J-L25, R-Z93) and 1 mtDNA (L4b2b).

    Regarding haplogroups:
    yDNA
29.63% of the Dutch Caribbean population descends from a European male, 2.16% from a Asian male, and 3.24% from a MENA (Middle East & North African) male.

    mtDNA
15.74% of the Dutch Caribbean population descends from a Amerindian female, 33.33% from a European female and 18.52% from a Sub-Saharan African woman.

Also, I added autosomal results. Most people had other mixtures aswell besides the three, I tried my best to round the numbers up but if you think like "Huh, in total it isnt 100%" its because they had other mixtures aswell but I didnt include those (yet). Oh yeah, These people are born and raised Dutch Caribbean islanders from all the 6 islands and most are my distant and not so distant DNA relatives,

PS: If i did something wrong with the average %, I am sorry I have dyscalculia, new blog post: http://dutchcaribbeanroots.blogspot....bbean.html?m=1

PPS: I cant even edit it right, this forum it still messed up a bit.

    Click on Autosomal
    https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets...75798262862728

The average African DNA is = 47%

The average European DNA is = 55%

The average Amerindian DNA = 6%

    Highest African % = 93%

    Highest European % = 100%

    Highest Amerindian % = 42%

    Lowest African % = 0%

    Lowest European % = 6%

    Lowest Amerindian % 0%

Regarding the amerindian admixture, most of them who have native DNA are from the ABC Islands, and most who do not have it are from the SSS Islands.

Dutch Caribbean: Aruba, Bonaire, Curacao, Sint Maarten, Saba, Sint Eustatius.

I think it would be better to distinguish what islands these people are from, because I am willing to bet that most of those who are 8%+ Native are Aruban.

Also interesting to note that no one scores like I do, but I'm willing to bet there are some Dutch Antilleans who do.

Still trying to distuingish them by island, but that will be a hard one. I will try. Anyway I added mtdna L3e1d to the list. And added two people on the autosomal list.

    Update:
The average African DNA is = 40%

The average European DNA is = 56%

The average Amerindian DNA = 7%

    Haplogroups:

    yDNA

29.63% of the Dutch Caribbean population descends from a European male, 2.16% from a Asian male, and 3.24% from a MENA (Middle East & North African) male.

    mtDNA

15.74% of the Dutch Caribbean population descends from a Amerindian female, 33.33% from a European female and 19.27% from a Sub-Saharan African woman.

Your findings seem very biased toward Arubans. There are way more Andruw Jones-looking people than Sidney Ponson-looking people on those islands.

No I am not, I am include all people from all the islands regardless of racial origin. Of course this shit ain't accurate, their needs to be a wide spreaded study done on the population. But go ahead if you want to believe that bro.

Ain't no bias. Always said that this isn't accurate and represenstive, it will be with more samples, a clannie. Alot of these folk are from Saba, especially the ones with slot of euro mtdna and 100% euro.

If you don't agree, hey man you can always skip this thread fam. But since almost nobody has interest in this thread anyway, I am going to stop update it on here. 23andmeforums didn't work, and this place doesn't work either.
